A distinguishing feature of the Dallas Mustangs Swim Team is our locations and practice facilities.

Loos Natatorium

Loos Natatorium is one of four facilities that are year-round homes for our team. Loos is the only 8 lane 50-meter indoor pool located in the Dallas area. During the fall and winter (short-course season), Loos is divided into two, 8 lane 25-yard pools. During the spring and summer the pool is "expanded" to its 50-meter length for long-course workouts.

Loos Natatorium is located in Addison, TX at 3815 Spring Valley Road between Midway and Marsh Lanes (link for map/directions). Loos is convenient to residents of West Plano, Richardson, Addison, North Dallas, Coppell, Farmers Branch, Las Colinas, Lewisville & Carrollton. It is located less than two miles west of the Spring Valley exit off the North Dallas Tollway. It's approximately two miles north of the Marsh Lane and Midway exits off of I-635 (LBJ).

Highland Park (HP) High School Pool

The HP Pool is the second of our year-round homes and is a 6 lane 25-yard indoor pool. The pool is located on Westchester Drive and is part of the Highland Park High School Campus (link for map/directions). It is convenient to residents of North Dallas, Central Dallas, Lakewood, Irving, University Park and Highland Park. It is located less than two miles from the Northwest Highway exit off the North Dallas Tollway.

Carrollton-Farmers Branch (CFB) ISD Natatorium

The CFB Natatorium is the third of our year-round homes and is a 14-lane practice and 9-lane competition "stretch" indoor pool. The pool is located on the northeast corner of Valwood Parkway and Hutton Drive in Carrollton/Farmers Branch and is a part of the Standridge Stadium Complex (link for map/directions). It is convenient to residents of Carrollton, Coppell, Farmers Branch, Irving and Lewisville. It is located less than one mile west of the Valwood Parkway exit off of I-35.

Knights of Columbus (K of C) Pool

The K of C Pool is the fourth of our year-round homes and is a 6-lane competition 25-yard outdoor heated pool. The pool is located in Dallas at 10110 Shoreview Road. It’s located in East Dallas just North of White Rock Lake and East Northwest Highway (link for map/directions). It’s convenient to residents of East Dallas, Garland, Mesquite & Rockwall.

Southern Methodist University (SMU) Swimming Complex

The SMU swimming complex consists of a short-course indoor pool and a long-course outdoor pool. It is located on the SMU Campus and is close to Mockingbird Lane between Hillcrest and North Central Expressway. The complex is located on the right side of Bishop Blvd at the corner of Bishop Blvd and Binkley Ave. Perkins Natatorium (the indoor pool) is located right on the corner (link for map/directions). The outdoor pool is located directly behind the natatorium.

Perkins Natatorium is used primarily when the HP pool is not available. Due to renovations on the HPHS campus over the past couple of years, our HP groups have often swum at this location during the spring and summer months (see try-out and scheduling information). The indoor pool is an 8 lane 25-yard pool.

The SMU Outdoor Pool is the summer home for morning workouts for our Gold & National Group swimmers. The pool is an 8 lane 50-meter pool.

This summer home is special for our Gold & National swimmers. The morning workouts at SMU are jointly held by the Dallas Mustangs and the SMU Swim Team. What this means is that our team members get an opportunity to workout with All-American, NCAA Champions & Olympians.

In addition to our coaches, SMU Men's Coach Eddie Sinnott & Women's Coach Steve Collins support all swimmers during these workouts. Eddie & Steve have been awarded multiple coach of the year honors during their tenure at SMU.
