Mustangs Strong at US 2007 Spring Nationals!

Almost 900 swimmers from swim clubs and universities across the United States gathered in Long Island, New York for this year’s Spring Nationals.  The competition marked the end to a long, hard fought swimming season that started in September and included meets on the high school, regional, national, and even international levels.  The Mustangs were well represented with 13 athletes and proved that they were again a force to deal with, finishing fifth overall in the team standings.

The Mustangs were led by Spin Beck, with three top eight finishes, and Matt Thompson, with four top eight finishes.  Our team also showed their traditional strength and depth on relays by scoring in five out of the six relay events.
