Mark "Mook" Rhodenbaugh Honored by North Texas Swimming

Dallas Mustang's head coach Mook Rhodenbaugh was recently named Senior Coach of the Year for the 1999-2000 swim season by North Texas Swimming. During Mook's 14 years with the Mustangs this is the 4^th time he has received honors similar to this.

Though Mook would be the first to give all the credit to the swimmers and other coaches supporting the swimmers, consider just a few of the accomplishments of Dallas Mustang swimmers over the past year -

Fifteen Dallas Mustang Swimmers selected to represent North Texas for the 1999 North-South Texas All-Star Shoot Out

1999 U.S. Open in San Antonio - DM Women Finish 10^th Overall

Clare Williams - TAPPS High School State Champion - 100 back and 200 free

Andrew Hansen - TCIL High School State Champion - 200 free

Brian "Norm" Stephens - UIL 4A High School State Champion - 100 breast and 200 IM; Dallas Morning News High School Swimmer of the Year

2000 Phillips 66 National Championship - Martina Moravcova winner of women's high point; U.S. National Champions in 400M Medley Relay (Courtney Patterson, Katie McClelland, Martina Moravcova, Naoko Imoto)

2000 TAGS Short Course Championships - 5^th Place Team Finish; 15-18 Women High Point

Seventeen swimmers compete for DM at U.S. Olympic Trials

DM Member Martina Moravcova wins two Silver medals at 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia
